5 Benefits of Retargeting

5 Benefits of Retargeting

Don’t you just hate all those intrusive messages you receive every day? Yeah, thought so. Fortunately, marketers become more and more aware about the importance of retargeting and they’ve even started acquiring experience.

Experts estimate that less than 2% of web traffic makes a purchase, complete a sign up or a form. It’s a shame to leave that 98% unexploited, right? Well, this is where retargeting comes in.

And if these numbers aren’t enough to convince you about its ‘power’, let’s break it down in a few point. To be more specific, today we’re talking about the benefits of retargeting.

  1. Precise targeting

What makes retargeting so great is that it helps you to avoid situations in which you’re shooting with ads all over the Web, on website potential clients never visit. Instead, you are displaying ads solely to people who have already expressed their interest in your business.

  1. Increases your marketing reach

Let’s say that you’re already using an advertising system, like AdWords or Facebook Ads. You already have a specific reach, but what if we told you that you can expand it? You guessed it, with retargeting.

You can have your ads shown on even more websites, making your brand and your site even more popular. And you know what’s even better? You can advertise on top, premium websites, at some excellent rates!

  1. Better engagement

One of the main aspects that affects a site is the time spend by visitors on it. Retargeting  allows you to reconnect with people in a meaningful way. But some numbers work better than a promise, right? Well, you can get back in front of 84% of your targeted traffic, on average, which is…pretty damn solid.

  1. Differentiating from the competition

You will always have competitors when it comes to ecommerce, but retargeting can help you be one step above everybody.

This is a relatively new concept and not everybody is using it, so why not exploit the momentum? Besides increasing brand awareness, retargeting will also keep you in front of the visitors until they’re ready to convert!

  1. Increases conversions

We’ve saved the best for the end, because, after all, a bigger conversion rate is what every website who decides to use retargeting is looking forward to, right?

Traffic transforms into leads. Encouraging customers to return to your website and, in some way or another, connect with the brand, helps you nurture leads, hence increasing conversions. Always focus on people who had shown greater intent, serve them relevant ads and they will come back to your site in a jiffy. Hey, it’s that simple!

Of course, we could go on with the benefits of retargeting even more, but we like to think that the ones presented above are the most important. Still, since we’re put a big price on your opinion, we want to hear from you as well.

  2. I think that what you wrote was very reasonable.
But, think about this, what if you composed
a catchier post title? I am not suggesting your content isn’t
solid., but what if you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean 5 Benefits
of Retargeting – Retargeting Blog is kinda vanilla. You might
glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create
article headlines to grab people to open the links. You might add a related video
or a related pic or two to get readers interested about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it might
bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
